Weather on Denali - Yikes!

Just so no one is under an illusions about the trip ahead - here is a little look into our weather for the week ahead!

Understanding what the weather will be like on a particular day at a particular altitude given the reports below takes some practice and some effort. The wind direction and speed, precipitation and cloud cover are core elements that we take into consideration but a crucial aspect of successful predictions is comparison of predictions to on-site experience and at this time we have no one to confirm the weather at C4! 

Looks like  a lot of snow at this time so we may land and simply dig out our tents for two weeks and come home! We'll see!
